The Boathouse Restaurant is called so because once the building used to be the real boathouse, thus it features the high ceilings and natural wooden beams. The restaurant consists of several large dining-halls and a wonderful outdoor seating. The ground floor of the restaurant has been entirely appropriated for a bar, which has a twelve-meter long counter. During the reconstruction of the restaurant's rooms, the pre-war boat was found in the attic of the building. Now it hangs from the ceiling, which is a very unusual element of the restaurant's decoration. The Boathouse faces the Vistula River, and the picturesque landscape attracts the citizens and the tourists of Warsaw to this Italian restaurant.

The Boathouse was founded in 1998, and in 2000 the prestigious American monthly magazine Conde Nast Traveler included the Boathouse in the list of the 60 best dining places of the world. The Boathouse was the only restaurant representing Poland in the list.

The Boathouse has delicious Mediterranean dishes with a strong presence of the Italian cuisine to offer. The menu features everything from standard pepper steaks and ducks to New Zealand lamb and chicken skewers. There are many fish, vegetable and game courses. The menu changes four times a year, and every month the chef of the Boathouse prepares a Special menu with many exotic dishes. Among the gourmets the Boathouse is famous for its excellent pastas, salads and desserts. The wine list features wines from Argentina, California and South Africa.

The biggest dining hall of the Boathouse restaurant gets a lot of sunshine during the day and is ideal for company dinners, corporative parties and big occasions celebrations.
