The Ground Zero Club was founded in 1993. At that time, it was the only discotheque of such kind in whole Poland. The large place where the club is located was originally constructed as air-raid shelter in the time of the Cold war. Due to the original and stylish interior, decorations and professional equipment club stands among the most popular leisure places of Polish republic. Different styles harmonically coexist in club's design, while the main decorative elements are shining metal surfaces made of stainless steel. The huge dome above the main hall was specially constructed to protect the space from the explosion during the atomic bomb attack. Before the Ground Zero was set up, there was located a movie theater called Kino Barbara. Later in the movie hall, dance floor and the bar were established.
Recently the Ground Zero has celebrated its 10th anniversary. High-level service, professional audio equipment, lighting, illumination and laser effects have always attracted new people to the club. Nowadays it's the most mass attended dance music club not only in Warsaw but also in whole Poland.
