First Warsaw Golf and Country Club

The First Warsaw Golf and Country Club, the only club of this kind, is located 25 km from the city center. Golf course occupies the territory of 63 hectares and lies in a beautiful surrounding on the bank of the Vistula River. The valley has several natural lakes and picturesque groups of century-old trees. There are 18 holes; each of them is of individual character and different difficulty that means that all players irrespective of their level can enjoy an exciting round of golf.

If you want to play this aristocratic sport but don't know how, you can order golf lessons for the beginners that are usually conducted in the group of 4. The course includes the basic swing, putting, chipping and rules and etiquette. The 6th lesson is free of charge. But not only beginners need a good piece of advice. Advanced players are offered a course of lessons devoted to course knowledge, tactics and lessons on how to play difficult weather conditions. You can order an individual lesson and a professional instructor will help you sort out a particular problem. During the summer holidays junior lessons that usually last for half an hour are working. During two-three hours of intensive training all members of the "Golf Clinic" will learn to hit balls on the driving range, have a chance to try chipping and participate in a putting contest.

The First Warsaw Golf Club has a full range of facilities a really good golf club is supposed to. The driving range, an area where people warm up before the game itself, has been recently improved and features new two-piece balls, mats and less but wider practice bays which makes the whole area safer for everyone. There are also putting greens, practice area for short game, chipping greens and a practice bunker.

For the convenience of the players there are locker rooms with showers. Two comfortable lounges are perfect places to rest after the game.

The Golf Club Restaurant can cater to the tastes of all the guests of the club. An extensive menu is composed of the most delicious dishes of Polish, Italian, American and Asiatic cuisine. The variety of sandwiches is meant for the guests who just want to have a bite before golf round. The Drink Bar serves delicious coffee as well as all kinds and brands of spirits from all over the world. The special cocktails Golf Course and 7th Hole will be a final touch of an ideal sport day.

You are not allowed to play in T-shirts and jeans as if you're just going to play poker - all the players must wear polo collar shirts.
